Things are getting heated at Liberty University, y'all!
"It's easy for alumni to sit back now and talk about the 'good ole days' at LU when there was no political controversy or bad press but the facts tell a different story," Becki Falwell said.

One man and one woman for life? What to do when the Bible tells other stories about marriage and sex...

My latest...
Some of the Bible's passages are deeply troubling, and despite the wishful thinking of some Christians, are difficult to reason away.

One of the great ironies of this politically correct age is how those who most champion tolerance are often in such great need of the virtue themselves. Society calls “extremist” those believers they consider to be rigid, narrow-minded, and unaccepting of others.

Controversial pastor Mark Driscoll: Heeeeeee's Baaaaaack!

I think there's something to be said about grace and forgiveness but that doesn't mean you have to go back into the same position as before. It's curious to me why pastors who leave amidst controversy seem to always return as lead pastors again - rather than perhaps an associate role. I'm not saying grace can't turn someone around but I wonder what it is that pulls people right back into leadership positions rather than perhaps returning to a student role and learning from someone else.
