Meg Whitman says that Apple, "taught us that design really matters." Apparently late. Just now has H-P standardized the location of ports and power switches on laptops, or even the company's logo. How can it be 2012 and only now does the company say, "We get it." And, they got it by looking at the success of another company. That is neither innovation nor success. A company has to discover success on its own, using talent that creates original ideas. If you wait for others to define success and then copy it, you're too late.
