I live and breath ART! I am a lonely artist, I live in a box of paints. WIZZLEWOLF.COM
Introduction
I am an Artist / Painter. I am fighting to have my best ART LIFE! Born in Detroit, I still have "industrial grit" all over me! Earned my B.F.A. and M.F.A. from Wayne State University in the middle of Deee-troit. I am still learning to live and be the artist I was born to be. The Universe has been kind. I am so thankful for the abundance in my life. Yet, I still am learning life lessons daily. Currently, I live and work in St. Petersburg, Florida. See my work at www.wizzlewolf.com

I bought two wonderful, big books. Both are titled "Women Artists". They are sitting right in front of me on a table. Looking at the spines started to grind me. I hate the title "Woman Artists". Why couldn't the authors think of something more creative. Shoot, I would even like it if they were just titled "Artists". Just to prove a point on how stupid the "Women Artists" title is, I took a photo and changed the title. Doesn't this look absurd?

I went to see the Florida Orchestra yesterday. The coolest thing happened. They started to play the first piece, "España Rhapsody" by Chabrier. About a minute into it, ALL the lights went out in the theater. It was pitch black! You couldn't see your hand in front of your face. The orchestra KEPT PLAYING! It was unreal. You couldn't tell anything was wrong until they played perfectly for about 35 measures worth. Then, things got a little wobbly. It was almost as if all the musicians realized it was time to stop and they did all in unison. About 30 seconds later, the lights came back on. The conductor turned to the audience and was freaked out! Even he was impressed! They started the piece again with all the lights on this time. :-)

ARTISTS????? I posted wanting opinions on your definition of "MAKING IT". I am writing that blog post as we speak. Now, I have a new question for you and would love your input. What do you think? Here it is:

ARE ARTISTS NARCISSISTS? IF SO, IS THIS GOOD OR BAD?

ARTIST'S opinions wanted. I have a question for you. I want to write a blog post about "Making It". Before I write, I would love your input. What does that mean to you? What does "making it" look like in your art life? Do you feel you have "made it"? Why or why not?

I have ordered from Doorstep Delivery in St. Pete quite a few times. This is the second time I ordered from Chili's. Both orders were EXCELLENT! Tonight's order was extremely delicious. It was correct. The DD delivery was perfect and even earlier than expected. I will order again for sure!!!

This was my second call to Roto-Rooter in less than a year. The same serviceman came today. Both times, he was extremely punctual, friendly, and very capable. He took care of the problems fast and with skill. I truly appreciate the service. Roto-Rooter was GREAT! Will call again if I need a plumber!

Absolutely fabulous company! I woke up this morning with a burst pipe in my kitchen. It is only hours later and it is now FIXED! The plumber (Keith) was excellent. The price was reasonable. R.J. Kielty Plumbing turned a terrible day into a HAPPY one! Great job!!

I am glad I didn't join. I walked in there one day and there were two young girls sitting there at the reception desk. One was on her cell phone. The other stood there looking at me (I am not sure, but it seemed like she was chewing gum.) I asked about membership and if I could look at the gym equipment. She just looked over her shoulder and said "Well, there it is." I waited a moment and expected a greeting and a small tour. I got nothing. After standing there with no customer service to be had, I said "Never mind", and I walked out. This is not my cup of tea at all. I am not going to give money to people who are rude and unconcerned about potential customers.
