I live and breath ART! I am a lonely artist, I live in a box of paints. WIZZLEWOLF.COM
Introduction
I am an Artist / Painter. I am fighting to have my best ART LIFE! Born in Detroit, I still have "industrial grit" all over me! Earned my B.F.A. and M.F.A. from Wayne State University in the middle of Deee-troit. I am still learning to live and be the artist I was born to be. The Universe has been kind. I am so thankful for the abundance in my life. Yet, I still am learning life lessons daily. Currently, I live and work in St. Petersburg, Florida. See my work at www.wizzlewolf.com

I have been a teaching artist. I think I am going to be just an artist soon. The status quo of the education world has me thinking. I looked back on my blog before I become nearly catatonic. I don't think I can take it anymore. Back in October, I wrote this. I stand by it. It is the truth. http://www.shereerensel.blogspot.com/2014/10/art-blog-where-is-joy.htmlhttp://www.shereerensel.blogspot.com/2014/10/art-blog-where-is-joy.html

Taylor Swift's rant against Apple over royalties for artists has a few photographers calling her a hypocrite.

Well +Phil Kendall I live in Florida, USA. We have stuff like this down here. Maybe that is why I am so amazed. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. The most exotic flower I had ever seen until moving here was a dandelion. LOL LOL LOL

I posted a teaching story yesterday on Facebook that was touching. This one is FUNNY! We are getting down to the last days of the school year. I had a fourth grade student (who is a head taller than me) come over and put her hands on my shoulders. She said "Ms. Rensel, I am having a "GIRLS NIGHT OUT, do you want to come???" LOL LOL LOL LOL OMG!!!! I thanked her but I told her I would have to decline. (She is 11 years old. I am 61 years old.) Kids are so funny!!!

When the Supreme Court decides whether to establish a national right to same-sex marriage, the love story of Jim Obergefell and John Arthur will be front and center.

I found and watched this documentary this morning. It was terrific! It is kind of homemade looking, but what a story! Fritz is such an interesting guy. If you are an artist waiting to "make it", you will love his story. I watched it free on Amazon Prime. Here is the Vimeo trailer. LOVED IT!!  https://vimeo.com/81014823

Sitting in my studio during a really notable storm. Hugging my dog while staring at this painting. This work has never been shown. I am the one who looks at it. The more I look, the more I see and the more meaning it has.

I am going to write a blog post titled "Waiting for the CLICK". I will explain later......... Meanwhile, I found something that is helping me to hear that sound. This is so unexpected because I never have cared for the fashion industry. Nor have I ever read fashion magazines. Despite this, the movie about Diana Vreeland is rocking my current world in a good way. I am not so interested in the fashion part. I am more interested in the way she thought and her life of creativity.

This was my second call to Roto-Rooter in less than a year. The same serviceman came today. Both times, he was extremely punctual, friendly, and very capable. He took care of the problems fast and with skill. I truly appreciate the service. Roto-Rooter was GREAT! Will call again if I need a plumber!

I am glad I didn't join. I walked in there one day and there were two young girls sitting there at the reception desk. One was on her cell phone. The other stood there looking at me (I am not sure, but it seemed like she was chewing gum.) I asked about membership and if I could look at the gym equipment. She just looked over her shoulder and said "Well, there it is." I waited a moment and expected a greeting and a small tour. I got nothing. After standing there with no customer service to be had, I said "Never mind", and I walked out. This is not my cup of tea at all. I am not going to give money to people who are rude and unconcerned about potential customers.

Absolutely fabulous company! I woke up this morning with a burst pipe in my kitchen. It is only hours later and it is now FIXED! The plumber (Keith) was excellent. The price was reasonable. R.J. Kielty Plumbing turned a terrible day into a HAPPY one! Great job!!
