The place to go for music near NYU...assuming the band doesn't go on an extended break. Check if they're playing before forking over the $10 cover. Can get really really crowded, but usually the bartenders are easy to flag down.

This is a great space for catching local live acts. Nothing super special of fancy about the decor or anything, but the drinks are good and the musical acts I've seen have been excellent. Jazzy blues and soul, so far. Definitely need to go back to see some rock or acoustic stuff soon.

One of the few places with live music in the city. Usually a good cover band playing with plenty of room to listen and enjoy the music. There is a massive bar with daily drink specials. IF you're into live music, this is a great spot.

Rude waiters bad service. Saw the bouncers throw someone out for no reason and then called the cops on them.

Great little Irish pub! I came here on St Patricks day for a guiness and they had live music and a great vibe. If you want a surprise get the "Something Something", a $3 shot of whatever theyre trying to get rid of at the moment, mine was surprisingly tasty.

This Irish Pub offers many specials every day. There is a special lunch menu. There is a full bar with a large assortment of mixed drinks, beer, and wine. The food is deliciious. We ordered veggie burgers and wings. Both were delicious. Don't be fooled by the looks of the restaurant. Service and food is great.
