The most common cause of heel pain is Plantar Fasciitis (inflammation on the bottom of the foot). Plantar Fasciitis can usually be successfully treated with conservative measures such as use of anti-inflammatory medications and ice packs, stretching exercises, orthotic devices, physical therapy, MLS Laser Therapy, EPAT (shockwave therapy) or cortisone injections. If conservative measures fail we can then use PRP injections (platelet rich plasma) or surgery (plantar fascia release) to treat plantar fasciitis.

We welcome new patients by offering a first appointment within 5 business days. If you are experiencing heel pain that is slowing you down, one of our podiatrists will be happy to help you get back to doing what you love!
