This photographer had balls of steel.
Vince Brown originally shared:

The photographer taking this picture had guts of steel.
Naturalist and photographer Atif Saeed risked the wrath of a lion to capture this spectacular shot of the big cat snarling angrily just moments before he rushed at the photographer. Titled The Ghost and the Darkness, the photo has an incredible backstory behind it. According to Saeed, he had been driving through a safari park in Lahore, Pakistan in 2012 when he spotted a lion a short distance away. He got out of his car, inched forward to sit on ...

Hanging out downtown Seattle (Pike Place Market on a typical Seattle winter, rainy day) before the big game tomorrow between the Seahawks and the Packers. Go Hawks - let's make it two Super Bowls in a row!

This article points out some real reasons why this guy is such a hypocrite - what an asshole, and complete embarrassment to the African American community.

Only a self-hating person would call his own people scumbags when they're angry about injustice, and are expressing their anger and displeasure over the way they're being continually treated.  I would feel the same about a person of any race who spoke of their race in this manner if injustice was being perpetrated on them.

Barkley, you're out of order, and since you seem so bent on expressing your negative opinions about your own people, leave the basketball gig on TNT and go work for Fox News because I'm certain that you would fit right in there.
Jason Johnson says the famed basketball player lives in a world of wealth and celebrity, far removed from what most black men face

Also blacks are not the only ones who loot

You are the only one saying this. No one even would think such a thing. It's not about color, but class. I've lived in Soviet Ukraine, in shittiest of shit housing. People would shit and piss in the lobby. Moved here, lived in projects, same shit. Except they happen to be predominantly black.

Shit low lifes are shit low lifes. Throughout the world and this country. We are, however, concentrating on these specific low lives. When Vancouver rioted and looted over LOSING a hockey final, it was the same low lifes who were white.

Now, can you imagine a white celebrity saying what Barkley said about Ferguson? Of course not, he/she would be labeled racist (the most over-used label in this country), would be shunned and probably lose their life employment so if a black man can't critique his own people (however uncouth) who can? Or do we run around and pretend these are young men who mean well by robbing and stealing other people?

Wow! - Even it were free, I'm not sure I'd live there (sorry Flint).
A home in Flint. Mich., is on the market for peanuts.

How can the world stand still and watch this kind of thing taking place?  To watch this and do nothing is simply being a coward - the inaction, and silence from the rest of the world regarding dealing with ISIS is deafening.  The world stood by and allowed Hitler to murder millions of Jews in WWII, and now everyone is too afraid to deal with ISIS.  We're our brothers keepers, and we cannot have this kind of cowardice on our conscience.
As the tales of horror trickle out from areas ISIS controls, a growing chorus of voices is calling for action.

Garbage - How can you be the head coach and not know? I would give him the benefit of the doubt if it were just a couple of balls (2 or even 3), but 11 out of 12 (or 92%), no way. In mathematics that is called statistically significant. These guys cheated their way to the Super Bowl, and they have a history of cheating.

Black Friday breakfast at I-Hop after shopping. Pancakes, eggs, and cornbeef for me, and french toasts for the wife. I would have rather spent the day sleeping but members of my family thought there were deals to be found out there. Frankly, I found much better deals online.

Planet formation captured in photo http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-29932609

This is quite impressive.
The Alma radio telescope has snapped the clearest ever image of planets forming around a very young star.

I spent the day hanging out with the family doing some fun things in Seattle.  First took the family to a soccer game to see my two favorite club teams, Seattle Sounders (USA) play Tottenham Hotspurs (London, England).  Then spent some sampling food from a variety of cultures at the Bite of Seattle.  Anyway, just wanted to share a few pictures - enjoy!

I am confident that things will improve.

Screenings of England v Costa Rica on Tuesday are being scrapped because of lack of public demand.

Success starts in your mind - whatever you can conceive and believe you can achieve. However, you must have a strategy, and a plan that you diligently follow even if you're the only person who believe in your dreams. Remember, you cannot expect anyone else to believe in you if you don't first believe in yourself.
Introduction
I try to treat every person with respect and dignity because you never know who's who, or who's going to be who someday.  Always try to be the best that you can possibly become - success starts in the mind and with an attitude of belief.  Not arrogance - just confidence.

Also, if you're about something, you do not have to brag and showoff to let people know - in fact if you have to do that then what you're pretending to be might not be true.

Vincent
