As #AlbertEinstein once said, "Life is like a bicycle, in order to keep your balance, you must keep moving." 

And that's exactly what this morning was all about.  Tired, beat up, hurting.....but the WORK must get done & this was exactly the goal for the beginning of the week.   Needless to say, much needed REST afternoon is welcomed by this guy :)   

Track Workout & Stretching (Mid to Low Intensity morning) 

Warm up: 

Jog around the track (.25 miles) 

Main Set:  Sets of 10 

Burpees 
Squats 
Push Ups 
Lunges 
Sprint Half way around track (.125 miles) 
No Rest! 

Repeat! Perform Exercises again with NO REST! 
Recovery Jog around track (.25 miles) 

Rest for 1 minute, get drink 

REPEAT Entire process again.... Keep repeating for 40 minutes 

Last 20 minutes of the hour: Static Stretching & Cool Down: 
I've included a couple pics showing a variety of different stretches.  Pick 6-8 of them that best suit your needs.  Hold each stretch for 30 seconds, release and perform the stretch again.  

Remember that a stretched muscle is a growing muscle.  Stretching will also allow for faster recovery and most importantly will aide in chances for less injury.

One of my favorite ways to train my legs.  I do not have the size or definition! Of this person.   When I was using this machinery, I would put 10 45s on each side. Three sets of 12.  Twice a week . I maxed out  one  on the third day by doubling that weight.   its a fun and safe, effective way   to kick some weight around.
