I heard great things about the salon and was so excited to get a bridesmaid dress there. Our appointment was scheduled for the afternoon of a busy Saturday. We were double booked with a bride (understandable), but the consultant made it absolutely clear to me and my bride that we were NOT her priority. She didn't realize the appointment was for a bridesmaid dress (which had been confirmed twice during my phone call to make the appointment) and basically dumped us off in the room of bridesmaid dresses to go to her other appointment. The worst and, I'll admit, most humiliating part, was when it came time to size and purchase my dress. She took my measurements, went to size me, and at the register in front of other customers and consultants said, "You're a two in the chest, a four in the waist, and you don't EVEN want to know what you are in the hips." I would not recommend this place.

THE WORST! Alterations were over priced and when I got my dress cleaned, I noticed that my alterations were not complete. My dress had to be rehemmed the DAY before my wedding, by the CLEANERS, the lace on my dress had to be fixed because there were spots on my dress that had to be sown back together. They are over priced and their customer service SUCKS! The owner hung up the phone on me instead of dealing with the issue, refused to give me any compensation for my dress. THE WORST PLACE! Please do not get your dress here, I promise you can get something better from somewhere else and you will get a better price. I had to give one star in order to post this, otherwise it would probably be a negative 5 starts!

I wish I could give 6 stars!! I had the BEST experience here! Sue helped my mom, sister, and I find my wedding dress and I now consider her my own fairy godmother! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she found something so similar and beautiful (and within budget!).I would highly recommend this place!!

Awesome Customer Service! I am not sure why this place got such bad reviews, but I had a wonderful experience there! I went with 3 of my bridesmaids, and the ladies who worked there were so helpful. We had a great time picking dresses for me to try on, and they even let us take pictures. A girl named Ashley was my personal stylist while we were there, and she was amazing! If you make an appointment to go to Town & Country, you should definitely ask for her. She was extremely helpful and very honest with what looked good and what didn't. She wasn't just trying to make a sale, she really cared and wanted me to look fabulous. She even recommended other vendors that she knew such as a photographer, make-up artist, etc. Since I have never planned a wedding before, all of this was extremely helpful to me. She was so great and I ended up buying my dress with her the first time I went there. The other ladies were very sweet when we were leaving, they all asked which dress I chose and made sure I was happy. My experience here was wonderful, but I would definitely recommend making an appointment if you go on a Saturday...that's how you get the VIP treatment!

I really do not know where to begin. I suppose I will start with my wedding dress -- they measured the length incorrectly so the dress came in too short. The lining and the lace did not even touch the ground, and the owner refused to take the blame for it since she is the one who measured it. She also decided to tell me that if we left the dress out of the bag for 3 weeks that "the dress would grow" instead of just admitting her mistake. I had to go back 4 different times for fittings all because of the length and the fact that "the dress never grew." When I would arrive for a fitting, the staff would look at me like they had no idea who I was when I would be the only fitting scheduled for that time slot. One time I even had to wait 30 minutes in the fitting room because the owner "forgot" to tell the seamstress that I had arrived. It has been such an inconvenience having to leave work early to go back four different times for fittings due to an error that they had originally made. I have ten bridesmaids and they ordered their dresses from Town & Country. I was told three different shipping dates and three different arrival dates for the dresses by three different employees, one of them being the husband of the owner. They told me they would call several different times to confirm dates with me and never did. Every time I questioned why the dresses weren't in on the dates I was told, a different staff member would tell me they didn't know why I was ever told a delivery date because the dresses hadn't even shipped yet. Today I finally had enough. The husband of the owner assured me 100% that the dresses would be in Thursday, August 14, 2014 and that he would call Monday to confirm that they had shipped. I did not receive a phone so I called today (Tuesday) and his wife (the owner) was given the phone. She said that the dresses had not even shipped yet and she was unaware of any dates that I was ever given, which I believe is evidence of poor management on her part. Instead of apologizing for her employees, she was the first one to say it wasn't her fault and that she had no idea about any of it. I told her how disappointed I was with being given the run around, and she had few words to offer me. She called me back 30 minutes later to tell me that the dresses would be in today - HA! 30 minutes earlier she had said they hadn't even shipped yet. I explained to her how I was very confused at being told two completely different things, and she had the nerve to tell me that I should be "THANKFUL" that the dresses were coming in today! I have never heard someone say this to a customer!! She should be THANKFUL that I gave her store business, but she wasn't at all! PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. There are many other bridal places to shop at. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE! Know what you are getting yourself into before you go there. They also charged me $1200 for my veil, claiming it was expensive because it was hand-sewn lace, and when it came in, my seamstress told me that it was not hand-sewn!! There was evidence of glue!! This place does not care about their individual customers; instead, it is all about making the sale and their customers should be "THANKFUL."

Great bridal salon! Ashley was a very helpful, sweet, knowledgeable, and patient consultant. There is a good selection of dresses and I love the boutique feeling of the store.

The customer service is lacking to say the least. The sales representative met a simple call to discuss appointments and fee schedules with a condescending, rude, and unprofessional tone. A wedding is a big occasion; please do not waste your time or money on this vendor. It is not as though there are not dozens of other options.

Small, FAMILY OWNED business. We live in Alabama and my sister-in-law purchased her dress there. She loved it and had no problems. Very nice staff. The owners are VERY sweet too. Would definitely recommend. Sounds like some bride-zillas have rated them low. We liked Town and Country :-)
