Has anyone ever tried to define you by a single interest? Well, there's more to this girl than tea!

Absolutely gorgeous! I know one place I'll insist on visiting my next time in China. :)

The National Tea Museum in Hangzhou, China, is both quite large and quite beautiful. There are a number of buildings, set in a lovely natural setting. It's as much a park as it is a museum. #tea #museum #China #Hangzhou

An excellent quote from "Avatar: The Last Airbender"

Aang: "[I hear] you give pretty good advice... and great tea!"
Iroh: "The key to both is proper aging!"

Bringing tea to the masses
Introduction

I'm Dinah, a 25 year-old nerd whose interests vary from local theatre, Harry Potter, and "Doctor Who" to practicing yoga, writing, and tea! In the past couple of years, I have come to have not only a deep appreciation for good tea, but the more I learn about it, the more I realize how much more there is to know!

Every time I would try to introduce tea to friends around my age, I would come up against a staunch, "I'm a coffee drinker. I don't like tea. Tea's gross. Eugh!" (This may be slightly exaggerated.) Each time I encountered this sort of resistance, it brought an extra weight of sadness to my soul. I realized that I wanted little more than to share with others of my generation how delicious, multi-faceted, and straight up awesome tea is and can be.

Thus was Fun and FlirTea born - a blog designed to entice and edify non-tea drinkers who are caught up in the fast-paced, modern world we live in today!
