Hi Everyone,

I'm Loreena, pleased to meet you all. I'm currently travelling Australia with my husband, 3 children and our dog! It's a huge country to explore, but the kids are already talking about all the places we will go overseas once we finish Aus, so I guess we may never settle back down into a house, and travel will be our life for as long as it makes us happy.
You can also find me personally at +Loreena Walsh

If you ever get the chance to visit Tasmania, be sure to take a cruise on the Arthur River, it was one of our favourite experiences!

One of our favourite experiences in #Tasmania was to cruise the Arthur River, explore the #Tarkine . If you're ever blessed enough to visit this gorgeous part of our country don't miss the cruise!

We've been having a wonderful few days in Bulahdelah! There is a great free camp next to the river, everything you'll need at the local shops and wildlife to keep you entertained. Highly recommended stop. #nswtips #bulahdelah #travelaus #familytravel #roadtrip #australia

What a gorgeous website!
Sometimes you come across a web site so useful and just so beautifully executed, you wonder how it stayed under your radar for so long. That's the case with The Atlas of Living Australia at

"The Atlas of Living Australia (Atlas) contains information on all the known species in Australia aggregated from a wide range of data providers: museums, herbaria, community groups, government departments, individuals and universities."

The community groups contribution to our area would undoubtedly include records from Birdlife Northern Rivers (aka Tweed Bird Observers.)

Whether you're a student, teacher, researcher or like many travellers these days, just an avid enthusiast of the natural world, check out the site and mobile apps for your device, soon. They just sing!
