My family enjoyed dinner here, and had a wonderful experience! The service was excellent, throughout the meal, including our server, the person busing, and bringing the plates. Everyone was courteous, helpful, and service oriented. The food was also excellent. The bread was fresh, the calamari came with two really interesting sauces. My wife and I had the veal saltimbocca which was delicious! For dessert, we had decaf cappuccino and a vanilla panna cotta that was heavenly! We plan to go there again next month!

Great food and even better atmosphere and service is incredible. Our concierge recommended this place and he did not go wrong. It is obvious the chef is attentive to detail in quality and presentation but not to the detriment of portions. All around great dining experience.

I had a fabulous time at Teatro with my husband last week. The wait staff was warm and friendly. First off, they have these fries made with truffle oil and cheese, amazing! I'm not normally a sausage fan, but I tried the Proscuitto and Fig sausage my husband ordered and it was delicious. I tried the Eggplant Rollatini and it was superb. I also got the shells with lobster and butter and it is a perfect summer dish. Overall, they have a fantastic menu and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this place. It's definitely on my list of must do's when I'm in Boston!

My girlfriend and I went here after a performance at the Emerson Theater up the street and I have to say it was definitely a decision we were happy with. The waiter was extremely attentive and helpful with both our orders as a whole and our questions regarding dietary restrictions as well as selecting a buttery chardonnay that went with the entrees we were ordering, etc. That being said, I'm not sure if the restaurant is usually like this or if mushrooms happened to have on sale at the market or anything but the chef/menu/daily specials were very mushroom happy - which my girlfriend and I were both ecstatic about (because really its like meat only a vegetable... that good). I would recommend going here for more of a classy yet casual dinner/lunch however instead of a romantic one - we were both very pleased with the restaurant as a whole but the tables were rather close together and it was hard to block out other's conversations or have much of a private one of our own - not a giant problem just not something we were expected. As a whole this is definitely a good place to check out whether going to the theaters in the area or in general - the food is comparable in quality to those restaurants on Federal Hill in Providence, RI and honestly cheaper (which is sad for Providence).

Fantastic experience! The food was amazing. If your a pasta fan, try the rigatoni bolognese. Best meat sauce ever. The octopus was unbelievable! It had the texture of a scallop in my opinion. I love the fact that you have the option of an entree portion or an appetizer portion. We had a party of three so we were each able to get a couple of items on the menu and share. We had a little of everything I think. All around very flavorful food. Cant wait to go back!

Overall a bit meh - I went here to feel fancy, but it was loud and crowded and a bit pretentious - although, I had a great pumpkin ravioli dish. The wine menu and service was also great. Probably won't come back here on the weekends, but definitely for dinner on a quieter night.
