What Is Happening with the East Greenwich RI Home Sale Market March 2017

The home buyers are out in force looking for homes for sale in East Greenwich this month. So far this year home sales are up 17% over the same period in 2016 with higher priced homes finally selling well in the over $500,000 market.

So far this year the average home sold is $473,000 which is good news for home sellers.

U.S. Housing Market in 2017 Has Struggles...What Are They?

Although the economy is doing well, housing is struggling with fear of low inventory ( afraid to sell & then not find a home), rising mortgage rates, housing prices have not all recovered in many areas and housing starts are not meeting demand in most areas. What is a potential seller or home buyer to do?

Narragansett Real Estate Market March 2017 Update

This RI oceanfront community is always in demand by home buyers within and without Rhode Island. Why not when you have the best New England beaches to enjoy! Home sales so far this year are up 5% but home sold values are down a bit. The average square foot cost of a sold home this year is $264.

What is Happening in the South Kingstown RI Real Estate Market March 2017

Home sales have rebounded in South Kingstown in a huge way with closings up 140% over the prior month. Finally the spring market in buyers is apparent but potential home sellers are still sitting on their homes. The lack of inventory for buyers buying up in a home is very limited and more homes are needed to satisfy the housing demand in this RI real estate market.

Yes, there are places people can move to in the south where you can buy more per square foot of living space than the Northeast. However, in many areas especially first time home buyers and those wanting to up size a bit can not afford to buy now. Prices are not the same as they were a few years ago and many buyers need to wait longer to buy.

Jamestown RI Home Sale Market February 2017 Update Is In

It has been a cold winter in Jamestown real estate in home sales and weather. Although the real estate market here had a hiccup in sales with only 2 home sales this month and both were luxury homes over $1 million.

Spring is here now and this market awaits the home buyers to enjoy this stunning island town.
