Hot Narragansett Real Estate News April 2017 Update

This oceanfront RI community is desired by both in-state as well as out of state is all about the beaches here in Narragansett. A slight slowdown in home sales this month here but desirability is in the eyes of the beholder, right!

So far this 2017 home sold prices are up by 5% as compared to the same period in 2016. Again the average price of a home here is $556,000 at $264/square foot of living space.

Charlestown RI Home Sale Market March 2017 Update

Well spring has arrived in this Charlestown oceanfront Rhode Island real estate market and the luxury market is selling well in 2017 as compared to 2016 so far. Overall home sales in the first quarter of 2017 are equal to 2016 for the same period. However, luxury home sales are up 300% over the prior year (Jan.-March 2017 compared to Jan.-March 2016).

The average square foot cost of a sold home this year is $382/sq.ft. vs. $278/sq. ft. in 2016.
