Saturday 10/03/2015 I had lunch along with my wife and son prior to the college football game, Like all the other times we have been here the service was excellent but the the new menu was superb. The new offerings especially the farrow and mushroom burger with pickled beet ketchup I ordered was killer and as always the beer selection made it even better.

My husband and I love Two Bros. It's our go-to place any time we get a night out. Fun to sit at the bar, delish local food and always fresh. Tons of local beers on tap and always great service- it's always reminded me of Cheers. They take good care of us there and we just love it and appreciate it.

You can't even imagine how gross the food is. Flies trying to get at your food in the front so I can just imagine what the back looks like. Bad service and WAY overpriced. Cheap quality food, don't let the menu fool you. They make it sound gourmet but its all the lowest quality they can find. It's clear they are just frauds when you get your food. I wrote a very long review on the food and service but it wouldnt upload so just trust me and take my warning. It's the worse place I have ever been. Stomach aches and a ruined Saturday night for everyone in our party.

For all the snobs out there...This is not a 5 star resturant. This is a good place to get some drinks and eat some pretty good food.

My wife and I were visiting family up in the northern part of Vermont. On our way through we passed the nice snow filled town of Middlebury. We weren't sure where the popular place to go in town was, but we sure did find it! Two Brothers just has that warm welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in the door. I don't expect every worker to be happy and smiling, but that didn't matter here! They were all happy, multiple people greeted us, and we were sat and watered in a matter of no time (even though it was a busy Friday night!) The menu is filled with locally sourced ingredients ranging from all over Vermont. We were told we had to try the cheddar ale soup, and some of the specials on that night. The soup was creamy and delicious. My wife had a delicious salad topped with fresh ingredients, and a maple glazed pan seared salmon (just devine). I went for a more meatier approach, and got their steak frites. A nice rendition on a local favorite. Their steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and was juicy and flavorful. Atop their hand cut fries, it was delicious. Aside from all that, they have 16 cold beers on tap. Most of which are right out of Vermont (and a plethora even right in Middlebury). We went for a couple glasses of wine which fit the meal just right. The service, the food, the experience, all around was a perfect end to our long day of traveling. I can say with confidence the next time we are traveling through Middlebury we will not have to look for places to grab some food. We have found our destination.

I sat at the bar with a new friend just to have a beer or two. I don't think the bartender even acknowledged our presence, despite there being only 2 other people at the bar. Eventually, he walked up to us and just stared in between us, not even looking at us. We ordered two beers and he turned away, again without even speaking. It must have been at least half an hour later before we were graced with his presence again. Truly the worst service I've ever experienced. I'm still confused as to if we broke some sort of cardinal rule or something. I had planned on ordering some appetizer or small food item but I decided against after the first encounter with the guy. I actually wrote a note on the receipt explaining why I was leaving exactly 0 tip, because the bartender never came back over to us after giving me the bill.

I am a senior at the college in town and I have been coming to Two Brothers for 4 years! Very versatile space as other reviewers mentioned! The dining room side is cozy and has a library-esque feel with lots of interesting old photos of local spots on the walls. Great for a date or a meal with family. I love the Tavern for lunch or to watch sports. The ceiling is covered in dollar bills and the rest of the decor is very welcoming. 3 huge TVs! The lounge is awesome too. Recently redone. Great for a quick pint or bite or a night "at the bar." My go-to items are the Santa-Fe tortellini, the pulled pork sandwich, and the shepherds pie! I've never been dissatisfied with my food. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable. I'm on a first name basis with several of them!

Disgusting food and terrible service. I advise to stay away. Take your chances at the bar downstairs, but be warned the workers aren't pleasant at all.
