I'm not sure when a clearly articulated request for a "well done" burger indicated that I wanted to see pink, nearly rare meat when I sliced the burger open. My husband and I had been to this establishment in downtown Loveland several years ago when it initially opened. While our waitress was extremely friendly, the food lacked in quality what it attempted to substitute with in quantity. We both went home feeling sick after consuming a 1/4 of the poor excuse for an excessively sized meal. Today, I opted to give the establishment a second chance. That will indeed be the last chance given. I'm sorry I wasted my money. I like the disclaimer "Most all of our food is homemade." Upon our initial visit, the red chile on my oversized, under cooked burrito was clearly from a can. As I said, never again. Perhaps there is a severe disconnect between the Fort Collins location and the Loveland one. But, dare I say, I will not be finding out anytime soon. Thoroughly disappointed.

Been there twice so far. Carne asada burrito was amazing. Biscuits and gravy are awesome as well.

Best breakfast in NoCo. The homemade jam and biscuit is a surprise treat. For lunch the black betty burger another surprise.

Good service, high quality food and some unique spins on classic dishes. Great place for breakfast. Hands down the best breakfast place in Loveland.

Got there around 10AM on a Friday... it was 3/4 full. Evidently, the football team was scheduled for a visit shortly thereafter- 15 of them trickled-in over 15 minutes. The inexperienced Staff were all twitter-pated, they bailed on the list at the non-stationed hostes podium all the while conducting mini-huddles by the center wall to figure out what to do. We bailed and went to the REAL Doug's on Harmony in Foco where we received all-pro service and food.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here almost every weekend since it opened, and love it! The owner Ali always treats us to a laugh, and continues to serve up wonderful grub. We've tried so many other breakfast spots around Northern Colorado, and this is by far our favorite. Every made-from-scratch ingredient is delicious, and the meals are very affordable considering the amount of food offered. There will be a wait during weekends, at least for tables...but it's usually no longer than 30 minutes at the longest. And yes, the portions are huge, especially the papas & breakfast burritos...but they make for excellent leftovers throughout the day. Can't say enough about this place. Highly recommended.

We stumbled upon this place while traveling from AZ. I'm a huge breakfast person and this place ranks among one of my top 10. Fresh cooked food made in front of you with large portions. Biscuits and gravy 👍. The strawberry jam was so good I had to buy some to take back home.

Everything on their menu is stellar, from the basics like pancakes and coffee to their more complicated flavor combinations in sandwiches and breakfast burritos. They have a few classic lunch options (a steak, a meatloaf, a whole bunch of delicious sandwiches, and lots more) that are all excellent. They don't have much in the way of a coffee selection, more the simple diner hot coffee take-it-or-leave-it school of thought, but that hardly leaves anything to be desired with their delicious food. If the Buckstar's venti half-caf soy mocha latte with a scone is your jam, this place is not for you.
