I have a few beta codes for Zesty.io's new dev program,

Zesty.io, (https://www.zesty.io) a SaaS, CMS platform. Zesty.io's been around a while, but now I am going to be able to give out the use of this platform for free to people who can test and develop on it, or just try it out. I have a few beta invites to give out to people, and thought maybe some people on Google+ might want them? If so, here is a link to do so. It’s a pretty good platform to try to build things on, and for sure worth taking a look at. Though if you don’t like it, or think this is the wrong place to post this, please let me know and I can remove it or find a better place for it.

I think this is a great idea.  If you're involved with an #Ubuntu  LoCo Team, you should let them know what you're doing and maybe join them on one of their hangouts.

This year, I will continue my tradition of sending out Christmas cards to anyone I have worked with in the Open Source world this past year. If you would like to receive one feel free to comment below with your address or email me at philipballew@ubuntu.com with the subject “christmas card” and include your address so I can send you one. I only have Christmas cards, so if you do not celebrate Christmas, there is no need to feel left out as the cards are just a way of me saying thanks, so please reply as well!

The monthly SF Ubuntu users meetup is taking place once again at 6pm in downtown. If you live in the bay area, come on out and see all the fun we will be having. If you come out and say you came from GooglePlus, I will personally give you an Ubuntu sticker. All the Information is available in the link below. Hope to see people. For those to lazy to click on the link, the meetup is at 6pm and in the financial district at the Starbucks address below:
74 New Montgomery Street San Francisco, CA 94105

With Nelson Mandela and his health being in the news as of recent, I thought it would be a good idea to share this video for people who might not have run Ubuntu back in the brown days of Ubuntu when it was included in the distro.
The Ubuntu Experience (Nelson Mandela Interview)

D-day took some major cojones. Gotta respect that.
