REPAIRS vs NEW
Repairs are often quicker than installing a new unit, with many lead times on new units ranging from 4 weeks to 40 weeks.
Alatas average repair times are 5-7 days*
We offer the same warranty on repairs as new parts.
More economical
We aim to quote to a maximum of 60% cost of new;
offering a considerable saving to our clients.

Alatas operates workshops that support service activities on site. Components that have been removed from cranes can be repaired and overhauled in-house with greatly reduced delivery times.
Our in-house workshops also give us the flexibility to offer our customers the most economical and suitable solution to their problems.

ALATAS CHOOSES MAEDA FOR OFFSHORE PROJECT WORK

Alatas Crane Services Worldwide were recently called upon to supply and replace a new operators cab on an offshore crane based of the UK. The cab required replacement complete with a new SLI, system monitor and a control system, all integrated into one.
The project was managed by Alatas Project Engineer and UK Service Manager Richard De’Ath who selected the Maeda MC405 CRM(E) because of its compact dimensions, not only for shipping onto the rig, but for its lifting capacities and compact dimensions when lifting is required.
In addition Richard also commented that as the rig only has one crane and space is extremely limited the Maeda MC405 was a perfect solution due to its laden weight and this provided significant benefits to the service team and client.
In assistance with logistics and supply of the Maeda MC405 were Sparrow Crane Hire, whom in addition to providing the crane also supplied offshore-trained crane operatives. Alatas Crane Services Worldwide and Sparrow Crane Hire Ltd have a long history of partnering together on such projects off shore and on shore dating back some 28 years. Richard De'Ath , Service Manager for Alatas Crane Services Worldwide and Lee Sadler, General Manager for Sparrow Crane Hire ltd are both pleased to now bring Maeda Cranes into this partnership for the benefit of the whole Alatas Group and Customers worldwide.
