This place was not on the top of my list due to the high value of people...after having a very bad experience from a neighboring hotel/motel..it was either get back on the bus and go home or take a chance. After a nice drink in a local bar...I decided to go big or go home. I was told that there was only a single room was available..so I went for it. When I stuck that key card in the door and opened..my jaw dropped in excitement. Not only was the room clean...it was a king suite. Thank you Ms M.... you really hooked a sister up after I explained my horror story to you. You help made my mini vacation with my cousin the most meaningful.

The Tropicana is a really nice hotel. They have a large number of fun slot games, and cool bar areas with awesome dance club. Room service was prompt and clean rooms. Really had a great time at our stay there.

Very nice rooms, restaurants and other distractions in the tropicana. I stayed in the West Coast, which was slightly worse than the north, but it was cheaper as well. Each room had 2 size beds and a fairly large bathroom. The rooms were clean and the restaurants were nice. Anthem (one of the bars/clubs) was great and I would recommend going there. Only complaint would be the cost of food, but what can you expect from a casino?

This is my place. I don't gamble and I would give them 5 stars if they comped for the thousands I spend on rooms, food and other entertainment I utilize while I'm there. People talk about AC but I don't know anywhere you can go and have 8 4/5 star hotels with hundreds of 5 stars restaurants and clubs, some of the best shopping in a small area, entertainment of all sorts within a mile stretch, a boardwalk with anything you could want from salt water taffy to helecopter rides - and an ocean, with free beaches. What more do you want? Where can you stay in a suite in a 5 star hotel for under $130 night and without ever going outside have more than 20 places to eat, 25 bars, 5 clubs, movie, theater, shopping, candies, cookies, cakes, spas, pools Oh and did I mention an Ocean. Comp me Trop if I gambled I'd stay for a couple of hour spend a couple hundred dollars be mad and go home. I stay, spend thousands, am glad and can't wait to come back.

I was there on a trip with mccarter bus tour. The room had 1 chair for 3 people . Other than that I really enjoyed my time there, the casino was great the different places to eat was great. I want to come back with my daughter we try to take vaca together every year. She couldn't make it this yr. I have to tell more of my friends about this place.

We visited on a Thursday and Friday. I can't speak to the rooms as we didn't stay, but the public areas were all clean and the atmosphere was light and fun. The food and drink options were plentiful. We had a great time and will definitely be returning.

The fiesta buffet restaurant offer low-fair quality buffet. The food selections is a lot less than I expected from what they advertised. Moreover, the quality of the food is not up to standard. The meats; steak, roasted beef and ham is so dry I couldn't eat after a bite. The vegetables are overcooked and not fresh. The seafood (crappy crab legs an small sized shrimp) is not fresh, the crab meat in the leg is not even slightly fresh. The service is ok. Though the cashicashare a little rude to guests. Overall I decided to give 2 star because the desserts are ok. I like the sugar free cakes.

Tropicana Resort Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City is one of the last true casino on the boardwalk as we all remember. Its location is the last one on the very south end of the boardwalk, now that the Hilton is closed. Updated with so much to do, you never really have to leave except to go to the beach or walk the famous boardwalk. True there are only five hotels on the boardwalk left but this by far has the most to offer. They have unlimited bars some high end in and around the casino and or in higher end restaurants. You have middle of the road restaurants with bars, sports bars with large screen tvs with food service, and of course you have the marketplace. In the hotel off the boardwalk entrance is the marketplace where you will find places for ice cream, sandwiches, pizza, and one of my favorite places Casa Taco and Tequila Bar and Restaurant. The best guacamole thats made right in front of you. From the steak, tacos, empanadas and everything in between this place is the go to dining deal. Then lets not forget the new updated French Quarter Havana Tower. Walk thru this place don't know if your in Havana, or the French Quarter in New Orleans but you never think your in Atlantic City. Shops, restaurants, Imax Theater, Showrooms. You have more sports bars you have Discos, Nude Dancers Night Club. Enough said, oh and did I forget gambling, slots that do payoff, staff that is friendly, rooms that are spacious and the air conditioner that makes you freeze if thats what you like. Maybe worth a 5 star rating but I hate to give that. Go and enjoy yourself.
