I was fascinated with the fact that they had a decent wine selection from the Canary Islands. These wines are extremely smooth and easy to drink. The location is a bit awkward (intersection of two main streets in SF). The staff is nice and attentive. The food is good/very good (anything carnivore please!).

Dined here last night with a group of 8. It was stellar. We had heard the former Cafe Majestic staff had opened here - so we made a reservation. We are SF residents and have eaten at every place from Clown Alley to Gary Danko. They still have signature crab salad from Majestic days. Rib Eye on the bone served family style (about 2 1/2 pounds) was succulent and perfectly cooked; Scallops, Salmon, Beef Cheeks also phenomenal. We will return.

Just one veggie entree, but several tapas-style appetizers that were all great. A bit heavy on the mushrooms, if that's your thing.

I think the menu has change since I ate here last. Mainly small plates when I ate here, but tasty. This is where the old Enrico Banducci's used to be. We ate outside (it was a nice night for San Francisco) and watched the North Beach crowd walk by and also watched a car being towed. Fun place if you are with a crowed.

Awesome, creative basque cuisine with great prices and comfortable atmosphere. The room is relaxing and decorated with art by Jeremy Fish. Also the cocktail program is solid and unique. Excellent Service.
