I was one of the first licensed acupuncturists to lecture to physicians at the Mayo Clinic about the benefits of acupuncture and modern research in integrative medicine. It was 1996 and I was one of the first acupuncturists to be licensed in Minnesota. I would like to think I played a role as one of the many acupuncturists that led to the opening of Mayo's integrative clinic where acupuncture is performed regularly.

Today, I work toward informing the public while developing a greater understanding and respect of the education of properly trained acupuncturists in South Dakota.

I have been in continual and uninterrupted professional clinical practice since 1989 and have worked throughout the USA, Chins, South America and Europe teaching and practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I am a graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine's Masters and Doctoral programs (MAcOM and DAOM).  I am the only acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioner in South Dakota with this level of education.  I have been involved in the professional clinical practice of this medicine and healing arts since 1989 and have worked all over the world as a clinician and teacher in the field.  I bring my education, skill and experience to the table when treating each individual patient with my focused and caring attention.  I am here to help others through their unique healing process.
