We are located in Silicon Valley, an area very much so affected by this drought. Jobs are being lost, farmers are loosing family farms, and so much more. I can't help but wish our new smart technology was completed and ready to help!

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry for the lack of posts for the last couple of months. We are still working on making our technology a reality and will be relaunching a new crowd funding campaign in the near future.

All of the people working on our campaign are volunteers (thanks everyone!) that believe in this technology and the good it can do. And... all of the volunteers have day jobs, so it is taking a bit to build the next campaign.

Today, more than ever before, there is a need for clean affordable drinking water produced in a eco-friendly way. We are confident our smart technology can help with this problem.

Thank you for keeping this page in your circles. More updates with be coming in the near future. Thanks again for your support!

Hello everyone!

I'd like to give a quick update on our progress. There are several different people helping us out with our new Indiegogo campaign and since everyone is volunteering their time, it's taking a bit longer than we expected to re-launch the campaign.

The new video is 99% done and the new website to support the campaign is about 50% done. We also realized that the holiday season is coming up quickly and people are going to be very busy so...we are planning to relaunch our campaign shortly after the new year begins.

Thank you all for your interest and for following our progress!

+Di Cleverly shared a very interesting infographic about the differences between agroecology and industrial agriculture. The differences are quite interesting. Everything is effected, from the climate down to water.

Click on the image to view it larger and use the magnifying glass tool at the top to enlarge it further.
Very complex but interesting infographic on agro-ecology vs. industrial agricultural.

Facts like this show why finding new ways to get water to people is so important!

#atmosphericwatergeneration   #cleanwater
In Madagascar, 4,000 children a year die before their fifth birthday because of a lack of safe water and sanitation. 3.5 million school days are lost to diarrhoreal disease per year and nearly 80% of schools don't have any access to safe water. http://goo.gl/MCKscD

Many people have asked, "Why invent new smart technology to create water from the air? Doesn't desalination work just fine?".

Back in April we shared this +National Geographic article about the downside of the desalination process. I thought I'd re-share it now because so many new people have added this page (thank you!).

And, as noted in the article, the current technology on other water production methods is not cost effective. We are out to change this and make #cleandrinkingwater  an affordable reality for more people!

We have been asked, "Why develop this technology when a process like desalination exists?".

To quote +National Geographic, "Desalination inevitably leaves behind a concentrated brine, which can harm the environment and even the water supply itself. Brine discharges are especially tricky to dispose of at inland desalination plants, and they’re also raising the salinity in parts of the shallow Persian Gulf. The saltier the water gets, the more expensive it becomes to desalinate.

What’s more, none of the new technologies seem simple and cheap enough to offer much hope to the world’s poor..."

In addition to the environmental damage desalination causes and cost issues, the water doesn't taste good!

We have invented smart technology to make producing water from the air cost effective. But how exactly do you get water from the air?

Below is a simple infographic showing how atmospheric water production works. For a full screen view, click here: http://airtowatertech.com/pdf/how-do-we-get-water-from-the-air.pdf

Many new people have added this page recently (thank you!), so I thought it would be a good idea to share what we are all about.

To put it simply, we have found a way to make atmospheric water generation cost and energy efficient. How much more efficient? Check out the chart below (or for a large version, click on the link).

We are working on building a prototype of this new smart technology now and will be launching an +Indiegogo campaign complete it. More details soon...
