Very expensive to attend, but you can't compare it to anything else! Save up for it and prepare to be exhilerated!!!

I went to King Richard's Faire every year since I was 16 until I was 22. I haven't gone in a few years due to how expensive it is to get in, the overpriced vendors (due to the fees that KRF charges them I'm sure), expensive food and it never ever changes. I've been going to the Connecticut Renn faire for the past few years Spring and Fall and it's a LOT more fun. Half the price to get in, more interesting and LESS expensive vendors, they have special events like for Halloween they had the headless horseman jousting the past couple of years. New vendors every year, the food is better and less expensive (chocolate covered bacon anyone??) So I reccomend trying CTRF if you are tired of KRF! KRF is great for Renn faire beginners but it gets boring after a while. $26 a person to get in is outrageous.

It is expensive. That said it is a great experience!! I try to go every year. I always have a great time even if I spend nothing except for the admittance fee.
