Nobody likes the words 'closing costs'. Very few understand why there are so many fees and costs connected to a real estate transaction. It's understandable home buyers want to share the closing costs with the seller but seller is not required to agree.

Obviously, saving for the down payment is quite a personal challenge. The rising home prices may also put a damper on the enthusiasm but shouldn't keep you from investing in yourself.
