Have you met Delwyn, our #NDIS Plan Coordinator in Townsville?

"I really enjoy helping parents and families think outside the box – they might say, yes I need therapy but I can open up their options and say well how about a mainstream basketball team, as that will tick the physio box but you’re also being active and socialising."

If you want to chat to Delwyn about your NDIS plan, get in touch today: http://bit.ly/2e9o0l2

One of the many reasons Martina loves her job at CPL...

"We had a performer last year who was 22 and had never spoken. But after four years of drama and performance training with Screech, he used his communication device for the first time in public, on the stage. It’s these kinds of stories that make my job one worth having.” http://bit.ly/1TCTpYW

Cassie Berryman, Assistant Manager in Corporate Banking at ANZ Australia, has been volunteering her time with CPL for three years. When Cassie was young, her dad had an accident which left him with an intellectual disability so she has seen firsthand how challenging life can be for people with disabilities.

“I really admire the work that CPL does to help people with disabilities. I think it is really important that everyone has the opportunity to live their life the way that they want to, which may seem easy to most people, but for others they need a helping hand to do that.

What a remarkable young man! Local artist John Kalantry, from CPL's Springfield service has many passions...politics, cooking and painting to name a few.

John is hugely influenced by Renaissance artists, he's even enjoyed commercial success, including selling an abstraction of the Mona Lisa to Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale.
