Joe Rog - That Reagan speech was the ass end of the cold war, well after it was won covertly.

Yeah, right.

The eminent linguistic philosopher J. L. Austin of Oxford once gave a lecture in which he asserted that there are many languages in which a double negative makes a positive, but none in which a double positive makes a negative — to which the Columbia philosopher Sidney Morgenbesser, sitting in the audience, sarcastically replied, “Yeah right.”

Roger Waters: Why I must speak out on Israel, Palestine and BDS

What can we all do to advance the rights of Palestinians in the occupied territories, Israel and the diaspora? Well, BDS is a nonviolent, citizen-led movement that is grounded in universal principles of human rights for all people. All people! In consequence, I have determined that the BDS approach is one I can fully support

Back in the day

I lived through a time of undercity clusterfuuken - 313 style. A time when the underground people of Detroit mostly HATED trance, while seemingly, for shits and giggles, they embraced it at the same time. Hypocrisy at it's finest? Perhaps. This was way before dubstep so everyone gets a freebee pass. But as a style in general, it is what it was, BUT without question it's lost it's lackluster for me personally. But when it was fresh and new - shit was BANGIN! imo. Yeah, Im from a techno town with a techno heart - Much ♥ to that. But every now and then when I'm feeling sparky, I'll BUMP a bag o' ye'ole trance for a little trip down reminisce lane, only to be reminded of the dancefloors,  and the parties of old, only thinking to myself - what a wonderful ______ it is... Like right now just this minute. And then it's gone lol -This one always takes me back - - >

"Isn’t that what being young is about, believing secretly that you would be the one person in the history of man that would live forever?" - David Ames

In an interview with Computerworld , author and futurist Ray Kurzweil said that anyone alive come 2040 or 2050 could be close to immortal. The quickening advance of nanotechnology means that the human condition will shift into more of a collaboration of man and machine , as nanobots flow through human blood streams and eventually even replace biological blood, he added.
