Had just finished Ruby Falls tour and family was hungry. Saw good reviews for this place and took the chance. So glad we did. Excellent barbecue pork. Barbecue sauces were exceptional. Hash brown casserole is to die for! Good kids meals. Didn't get to try desserts, but have no doubt they'd be good. We'll definitely be back here on future visits to Chattanooga. Whatever you do don't eat at Rock City cafe. Service is slow, food is expensive and not very tasty.

Their menu is simple but really, really good. I like the laid-back atmosphere there as well.

Our family loves the Purple Daisy Picnic Cafe! The best barbecue around! I also personally LOVE the Rainbow Sandwich and the fruit tea. Great food, great service and very clean. We have even used them to cater for our home and business parties. You just can't beat it!

What a place. Great food and great people. Staff was terrific and the food was outstanding. I loved the smoked burger and my wife said the pulled pork was the best she has ever eaten. We don't go much for atmosphere in a restaurant, we like quality food and good staff and we found both at The Purple Daisy. We will definitely be back, along with some friends in tow.

Exceeded our expectations. We stopped to get some dinner after Ruby Falls and we were had low expectations. But the food was quite enjoyable. The ribs were meaty and tender. I liked the tangy sauce. The baked potato was fluffy and most, my son approved of his grilled cheese (even with the swiss cheese) it was good local food. It's close enough to the highway that I would stop for lunch on my way to and from Nashville.

Excellent BBQ at a good price. The ribs and pulled pork were really good. The spicy slaw was good. My family really enjoyed the banana pudding. Our server was really nice and attentive. We were planning on eating at Rock City, but we saw this place on the way up. We were VERY glad we chose to drive back down for lunch.
