I've been to several places in the area between my Friday's and Saturday's. Gaslight by far is the best especially when DJ Blake is performing the music is amazingly good because he plays various styles to suit everyone old and new.The bartenders are super nice and skilled. The Bouncer is really cool and always friendly. There are two sides which play different music. So if one room plays gangsta music the other room for example will play pop/rock. It is still a nice place to talk to people but for someone like me who is more preoccupied with dancing you shouldn't be able to find an excuse not to enjoy the place. If you are looking for a good time my group comes on Friday's after 11pm. Look for the person busting dance moves

In the meatpacking district it's one of the larger bars in the area and has prime location on the corner of 14th st. Large front area with a long bar and the back room has tables and half the size bar. It's very busy on weekends and drinks are costly. Bartender was friendly and attentive though. Mostly bottles of beer rather than tap. It's a bar for convenience rather a place to go back to. As its pretty pricey.

Had the best night here last night. I love this place! Bartenders were super friendly and were quick getting our drinks. We sat at a table where our waitress said we had to order our drinks from her but never came back after 20 minutes?! We simply went back to the bar. My date loved it as he wanted to dance and dance we did at the bar but then moved to the back room. The music was pretty eclectic if I remember and we had a blast

One of my favourite bars in NY, the clientele is pure comedy gold; people watching here is a riot. That aside the music is great, the booze selection is good and the decor is of good quality. Not exactly 1st date material but maybe 3rd if you fancy a good party.

A fun, laid-back bar in the Meatpacking district. Never any cover charge! A great place to meet friends to pre-game before hitting the nearby nightclubs (sometimes we just end up staying there!). The DJs are always pretty good, and the staff is friendly. The G2 part has a great lounge vibe and there are cool private booths in the back. Plus they have their own pizzeria right next door too! What more could you need?

I actually like this place a lot. Awesome spot for the weekend. The vibe is both energetic but also chill. There are actually two sections to the place which I didnt even realize the first few times I came here. If you go to the back, there's another, fairly large spacious bar back there! The one gripe I have is the bouncer who gave us a hard time getting in (we were all guys) and then he indicated if we left after getting in, we'd have to pay $10 to get back in. I know this was simply because we were a bunch of guys. On another occasion, the bouncer let us in but insisted that coat check was mandatory ($3). This type of inconsistent nonsense really deters people from coming back to an otherwise great place.

Came here one afternoon to get out of the rain and grab a bite. The decor is pretty trendy. Outside, there's a nice patio for warm days to sit and enjoy some sun. Inside, there's some really nice, cushy booth areas. The service was a bit slow, but I enjoyed the snacks and would like to come back again to try one of the late nights.

Insanely rude bartender gave my friend's ID and credit card to someone else!!! Super rude, unprofessional, and clearly incompetent. Stay away!!!
