Happy hour until 7 PM is the best time to visit this joint. $8 pizzas are a steal, especially the mushroom pizzas, which is more than just your ordinary mushroom pizza. Their baked brie appetizer is also pretty good and the cheese just melts in your mouth. Their martinis are strong, but they use some bad well vodkas or Smirnoff, which leaves room for improvement.

Olive Bar is a little known gem of a local happy hour bar in the Tenderloin. The atmosphere is very San Francisco with funky/psychedelic decor and the occasional DJ spinning from the balcony. The crowd is pretty local too. The perks: - The drinks are delicious and well priced, especially during happy hour. - The bartenders are great - no attitudes which I find rare. - They have delicious bar food. I recommend the baked brie. - It isn't overrun by any particular scene; eclectic.

When you walk in, you find this Tenderloin bar is way trendier than you'd expect from the exterior. They have a great pizza happy hour and the drinks aren't too shabby either. It's nice to find a place that's cool without being pretentious.

Great happy hour!! $5 house cocktails, $1 off beer and wine, and $8 pizzas. Loved the field greens salad and mushroom truffle pizza. Great steal for a casual outing in the city.

This is a trendy little spot in a slightly questionable area of the Tenderloin. And when I say little, I mean tiny. The bar is nice and large, but there isn't a lot of seating. The drink menu is full of martinis and they have an diverse food menu. We tried the Ceviche, Thai Style Sautéed Spinach and the pizza of the day. The food was really great. The only thing disappointing about the place was how hot it was and the service.

The inside was spacious and had a saloon feel with all the wood and no windows. The staff was nice and attentive, but mostly cause it didn't seem that busy. It has a pretty extensive drink menu, and the drinks are decent. I had a Watermelon Martini. It was good, tasted like a Watermelon Jolly Rancher. Also and the Spicy and Dirty, which was a dirty martini with Jalapeño stuffed olives and an extra kick to it. Also really good. The food was okay, we had the calamari and quesadilla. Far from gourmet, but it was okay. Maybe, I'll try a pizza next time.

Good spot to sit at the bar, grab a drink, and maybe some apps. The fish tacos were pretty tasty and the service was good. Can fill up quick so get there early.

Awesome hidden gem in the TL that's been there for years. Friendly staff, strong drinks and a really cool eclectic crowd.
