What’s it like to spend 23 hours a day in a cell measuring 6x9 feet for days, weeks, months or even years? 6x9 is the Guardian’s first virtual reality experience, placing you inside a US solitary confinement prison cell, and telling the a story of the psychological damage that can ensue from isolation.

I came on st. Patricks weekend. Beer was good but food was stale. I ordered a chili nachos and waxys chili and both came barely warm, flavorless and stale.

Service is slow but the food and ambience make up for it.

It was close to my house so I decided to check out the place after work. I saw a few things I didn't like. First thing that caught my attention was how unwelcoming the instructors were. The first instructor (in glasses) that saw me walk in was on his cell phone. I stood near him to signal my presence and he seemed annoyed. He waved over another instructor to help me. As I walked over to the other instructor I greeted myself but was met by a blank stare like "what do you want" type of face. After I explained I'd like to check out the gym he offered to show me around; he then basically walked me into the crossfit area (which looked small and cramped with little walking space between crossfitters) and just said "this is the crossfit area" ; he then referred me to someone else at the front desk to show me the rest of the general gym. This is in contrast to other gyms that take their time to show the facilities, especially when one is asked to pay over $100/month. The other negative was how I noticed crossfitters had to do their runs around the strip mall that the gym is located in. They had to run through one of the entrances of the strip mall where there was some traffic. I noticed several instances of cars pulling out of parking spots and runners had to quickly dodge them. Add to that the potholes and uneven pavement and it looked like an unsafe environment to run. Although this gym was the closest to my house it didn't take me long to realize I wouldn't be happy here.

I always get good massages from Amy when I come here. But last time she took my credit card and charge me $40 tip, even though I asked her to only put $20. She refused and charged me $40 tip. I'm not coming back here again.
