HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO REFILL MY HUMIDIFIER?
Polymer-based humidifiers should be refilled with distilled water once a month.
For sponge based systems, proceed as follows:
For initial use you should only fill your humidifier with a special propylene glycol solution. As the water in the solution will evaporate much faster than the propylene glycol, the humidifier can then be refilled with distilled water. Only when the humidity level descends abruptly, do you need to add more solution. If you refill the humidifier with solution too often, the humidifying element will become unusable.

FONSECA
In 1892, Francisco Fonseca founded his cigar factory in Havana. His likeness can still be found on every box of Fonseca cigars. Fonseca is said to have been a very vain man, who always put emphasis on a good appearance. This is why he "dressed" his cigars in Japanese tissue paper. This remains a feature of Fonseca cigars to this day. Fonseca cigars are characterized by a pleasant, mild blend of tobacco with fine, herbal flavours. Ever tried a Fonseca?

MOISTENING YOUR HUMIDOR
The inner walls of the humidor, dividers and trays should be wiped off with a cloth moistened with distilled water.

Place a glass filled with distilled water in the humidor and leave it for three days inside the closed humidor. If the glass of water is heated in the microwave beforehand, the water will be absorbed more quickly and the humidor will be operational after only about a day. The inner walls of the humidor should then have absorbed sufficient moisture.
