Infotainment systems dangerous for drivers, study says

Many people believe they are safe from distractions when using their vehicles’ infotainment systems. However, a recent study from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety has shown that this may not be the case. Based on the study’s findings, motorists may be distracted for 15 to 27 seconds after using these systems. In such situations, they may miss hazards or changes in traveling conditions, which could contribute to causing motor vehicle accidents.
