So looks like I'll be seeing +Roman Birg in a few weeks in Seattle.  Just sent off my signed acceptance of an offer to work at Cyanogen, Inc. as a software engineer.  I haven't contributed to the 1st or 2nd most popular ROMs, well not directly ;), but I've spent many of my free hours chugging away at Android related stuff.  From Apps to porting to hacking away at smali and finally on to working at the system level.  I've done my fair share of Android work for free as well as private contract application development but it will be nice to continue working on the system and making a living at it is always a good thing.  I look forward to the stuff I'll be working on once I get up to Seattle.  It's going to be a lot of work but totally worth it.

As for ChameleonOS, I'll continue to do my best to keep the gears in motion provided there is no conflict of interest.  And besides, it's an open source project so others can always contribute ;) ;)

Now it's time to get back to finding a place to move to in 2 weeks.  Good times.

Congratulations +Clark Scheff, in fact make that a double congrats to help cancel out +Matt Wedgwood's comment. Its not often someone can take a hobby and turn it into a job, best of luck for everyone involved.
And to think what woulda been without the kindle fire ;)
+Todd Leech exactly. What would have happened if I never got that device and fucked around with porting MIUI. The world may never know.

Lol! I've been nothing but a voice ! Although the best Android Devs I've ever met normally choose to hide behind Oz's curtain
