Boston, can you give me a good steak? I'm still waiting....Mooo did not deliver with their entrees and service. It's a high end restaurant where I'm expecting quality in every aspects. It didn't happen! Our waiter seemed nice, but he seemed like an empty shell. Not once did he ask us if our food was okay or if we're doing okay....again, it just did not happen! Am I in zombie land?! I ordered the steak wellington where my foie gras overpowered the steak, but good thing was that it was still very tender. Unfortunately, the taste of my dish was off. My other dish was the sirloin which was suppose to be juicy, but ended up cooked medium instead of medium rare. bleh! Overall, I felt that Mooo was a high end restaurant with poor service (polite, but laxidasical) and mediocre food. Have I experienced better? Heck ya! Sorry Mooo, I'll be taking my dollar bills somewhere else.

First of all, I have to say that I am a steak-lover and I don’t go to casual-dining steakhouse. I enjoy the fine-dining of a great steakhouse because I cannot reproduce them at home. And so far, I have never been disappointed in upscale steakhouses, especially around Boston area. However, my first Mooo experience, which is my last, was completely off the chart. I took my folks to Mooo yesterday to celebrate Father’s day. My waiter wasn’t friendly (a bit snobby) at all to begin with, which I can understand, from our attires, i.e. not your regular daily patronage of governors, mayors and councilmen. He was slow to take our order and when he finally did, it feels like that I am begging him for it. However, the FINE-dining experience got even worse when he messed up our steaks. Why would someone come to your super expensive steakhouse and order medium-well steak instead of medium-rare, at least medium? Seriously? I can understand that everyone makes mistakes. But his attitude afterwards was beyond tolerable and made me feel like that I should be the one feeling sorry to cause him the trouble to have the kitchen to prepare new steaks. No compensation, no apology. Finally, when the new steaks came out, my folks and I had lost our appetite and one of the steaks was still closer to medium-well and the other one is closer to rare. What a great quality control on a so-called high-end upscale steakhouse? I am paying several hundreds of dollars for such insulting dining experience? I guess that I will take my money elsewhere to Capital Grill, Morton, Ruth’s Chris and Fleming’s next time. Mooo NO MORE!!....What a disappointment!!! This experience taught me NOT to trust the number of stars you read ANYWHERE!

Words cannot describe how wonderful this place is. I don't want to draw out this review, so I'll just tell you that if you're in Boston, go there. Just do it.OK. Maybe I'll elaborate. The decor is very upscale. The staff is courteous and professional, while also being warm and friendly. I had the dry aged rib eye which required no knife to cut, and my wife had an outstanding steak au poivre. The steak butter that came with my meat, by the way, was served in a beef bone, Loved every second.

Arrived at MOOO at 8 and trusted the valet with our car. We got it back with front end damage. We called the next morning and was guaranteed that someone would review the surveillance tapes and get back to us. I had to call multiple times and then spoke with General Manager Amy Finsilver who said she couldn't see the car being damaged but would not let us see the footage. She was very hesitant to give us any information regarding her manager or company owner. The way they are treating us is disgusting. I wouldn't advise ANYONE to leave their car with the valet!! Because you will be out of pocket

Easily the best steak I have had in Boston. We had a fantastic meal, from the appetizers to dessert, everything was perfect. It is well worth the price and it is a great place to have a nice night out. Make sure to make reservations as they book up quickly!

Been waiting to try this place out. Service was okay, our waiter forgot to bring out the sparkling water. Refill on the beer took so long that they gave it to me on the house. Salad and house rolls off to a good start. My first Beef Wellington (6 out of 10) cut of steak was great, crust was wet not flakie, mac & cheese was lacking cheese and in need of a touch more seasoning, veggies great, rolls tasty. Was that chocolate cake made in house? Maybe I'll go again but this time I will go with a nice rib-eye some mashed potatoes and broccoli/spinach. Hopefully the refills wont be forgotten.

The food at Mooo is delicious, though I find the sides and appetizers to appeal to me more than the steaks themselves. The steaks are wonderful and tender, but don't quite have that extra sparkle that you find at the very best steakhouses such as Grill 23 in Boston or Wolfgang's in NYC. The bread, appetizers, and sides (highly recommend the side flight) are among the best I've ever had, and these help to define this wonderful dining experience.
