Note to self.  Use unofficial ISOs that include non-free firmware when installing Debian on a laptop that requires wireless...

Interesting...
Some errors in the wording. Open box is a window manager, not a Desktop Environment.

I filed this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/webbrowser-app/+bug/1198714

The tab functionality mentioned in the app building blocks section of the ubuntu touch guidelines is a bit too restrictive for browser usage.

The tab functionality implemented in the webbrowser is not well integrated.

The fact that there are two tab implementations make things a bit fragmented.

I put some recommendations in the bug.  A lot of boil the ocean type stuff, but hopefully it will cause people to ask the right questions and maybe think of a better solution.

I am going to be looking at the new bberry A10 when it releases this fall. Looks and sounds very promising. Could bberry make a come back? I really hope so.

Currently using Unity on 13.04 Ubuntu.  Considering moving to LXDE with a Radiance theme, so I gave it a whirl.  Decided to test Debian while I was at it.   Only 54 MB of memory consumed on reboot.

Caveat lector
1. Apophenia - the spontaneous perception of connections and meaningfulness of unrelated phenomena.
2. Pareidolia - a type of illusion or misperception involving a vague or obscure stimulus being perceived as something clear and distinct.
3. Post hoc ergo propter hoc (after this therefore because of this) fallacy is based upon the mistaken notion that simply because one thing happens after another, the first event was a cause of the second event. Post hoc reasoning is the basis for many superstitions and erroneous beliefs.

Crowd sourcing investigations and trials by media are dangerous. Today them, tomorrow you.

Then they came for the mocha skinned dudes, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a mocha skinned dude. Then they came for me.

Ubuntu + Blueproximity + Bluetooth Jewelry = Great Success

If I could get an inexpensive ring, bracelet, earing, or neckless that would unlock my devices, It would to two things...
1) Eliminate the need to unlock my phone all the time.
2) Advertise Ubuntu to anyone who sees a small Ubuntu logo on the Jewelry.
