DIN ISO 9001:2008 – same procedure as every year...

cyber-Wear stood the test yet again and were successfully audited regarding their quality management

In the course of the company‘s expansion cyber-Wear 2009 has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2008; the certification has been newly granted as a result of an audit in 2012. The implemented processes and structures were reassessed again by “TÜV Süd” in June 2013. This so-called supervisory audit could also be successfully completed: all of the departments could meet the strict requirements of an external auditor. The high quality standards of the products and services from cyber-Wear are therefore also secured for the future and remain verifiable for customers and interested parties!

cyber-Wear produced 3,000 towels for a promotional campaign in the city of Lugano

In June and July 2013 cyber-Wear produced 3,000 beach towels and distributed them to 8 cities in Switzerland and Germany in line with a large-scale guerilla marketing campaign for the city of Lugano. The towel is the entrance ticket to be on the spot – in Lugano, in the summer: the towel grants free entrance to all of the three beaches in the city the whole summer and furthermore invites you to take part in a photography competition in facebook. The motto “Hier grau, im Süden blau” (it might be grey here but it’s blue in the south) was chosen in order to lure tourists to Ticino ...

Cybergroup BeachCup 2013

And the Winner is... ALL!

Following the huge impact which the Cybergroup Beach Cup made at the premiere in 2012, the second Cybergroup Beach Cup took place last Saturday on 22 June and it was a huge success yet again, in fact better than ever: cyber-Wear invited 24 beach volleyball teams from the whole of Germany to the Cybergroup Beach Cup 2013 which took place in Ketsch, Baden Württemberg. The teams spent the whole day here and all involved were absolutely enthralled without exception.

From 10 o‘clock onwards there was hell for leather on all 3 beach volleyball courts with scooping, serving, smashing, digging, setting and blocking. The third court was specially built for this event on special request from the participants - all the suppliers and partners from the advertising material sector. Approximately, 400 friends, partners, staff as well as family members were there to support the teams and they could also amuse themselves with the attractive supporting programme: everything was offered, including a bouncy castle, giant paddling pools and a surfing simulator for the little visitors and even cheerleaders and a Players’ Night for the adults which lasted until four thirty in the morning. Florian Weber, a professional presenter, hosted the show and DJ Marcy provided the suitable soundtracks: he created a great atmosphere the whole day through his boxes and afterwards he really got the party going! The band “The Ten Colors” made the journey especially from Leipzig and they were the cherry on the cake providing us with live music.

The main focus was definitely on games, fun and personal contact with staff and customers at the Cybergroup Beach Cup 2013 but there was no stopping genuine sporty ambition and commitment. Accordingly, professional referees were in charge of the matches and all the tournament officials had a team of professional volley-ballers. And that’s not all: even physiotherapists and masseurs were also present to treat the players immediately for small “accidents” e.g. making sure that the joints were well loosened up. Therefore, there was no stopping the ambitious digging, Japanese somersault activities etc. any more … . Those who donated money for their massages were supporting “Die Waldpiraten” (the forest pirates) – a project for the German Foundation for children with cancer in Heidelberg. The weather gods were smiling on us and sent us the sun as well as the wind in the right direction too, so that the thick smoke from the major fire in nearby Ludwigshafen did not reach the venue in Ketsch.

The actual cup was fought for with no holds barred but at the end of the day there was a relatively clear winning team: the “Zogis” with the Managing Directors, Jörg and Karina Herzog as well as the Marketing Director, Ralph Knapich from Herzog Products GmbH who won well-deservedly against the “WIL Thunderstorm” team, the “cyber Allstars” team and the “Kalfany Bärenteam" which landed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. The cup will be shining in the glass cabinet in the north of the Black Forest at one of the leading USB flash drive suppliers of cyber-Wear for a whole year now. One thing is certain now: the cards will be reshuffled at the Cybergroup Beach Cup 2014!

cyber-Wear becomes a partner of the „The Heidelberg Project“ Street Art Organization

The first social activity project takes place on American soil in the USA

The US metropolis Detroit, suffering with poverty and violence, regularly takes top position in the Forbes ranking as one of „the most dangerous cities in the USA”. Drugs and gang warfare take control in many districts in the city and virtually a third of the population can not read or write properly. 75 per cent of the inhabitants cannot make ends meet without help here and now a good half of the population has moved away whereas before, in the last 60 years, the “Motor City” was famous for its booming car industry with just under 2 million inhabitants. Detroit was declared bankrupt by the Federal State due to its extreme debts in March 2013. The townscape in many places is respectively grim: As a previous blooming industrial city Detroit today is above all battling against its empty status after the critical decline of the automobile industry. Umpteen buildings and premises are deserted and have been doomed derelict.

Tyree Guyton was born and grew up in the Heidelberg Street in the East of the city. Here he experienced ethnic riots and gang warfare and so he decided to set an example against corruption, crime and indifference in the mid 80s. The street artist decided to do something about the “dull city grey”, so he took a paint brush and paint and first painted his own family’s house with large bright colored spots. The abandoned, derelict and gutted houses in the neighborhood followed afterwards. He created a festival out of colours from discarded everyday items and his work in the meanwhile is described as the “Ghetto Guggenheim”. Old doors were painted in pastel colours and nailed together; clothes, shoes and prams were hung in trees and building facades were decorated with cuddly toys. The poverty stricken residents were irritated at first but joined in later. Two decades later the art project ranged over two blocks and some local teenagers have even managed to go to college under hopeless circumstances. Tyree Guyton has been swamped with art prizes and honorary doctorates and television crews throughout the world have filmed this urban wonder of gaudy facades and buildings and in the meantime the street art is also incredibly interesting for tourists.

The goal of “The Heidelberg Project” is to enhance the life of the inhabitants living in this area of Detroit with the help of art and also to especially help the children who would otherwise only have the street as an alternative. The Cybergroup Int. chose this project as their first social activity project on the American continent and supported the organization with a donation at the beginning of June.

An enticing complete edition of unusual fine coffee mugs for your collection

Fiesta, Kuga or Focus; Heritage, RS or EcoSport – you won’t be able to avoid the jumbo size mugs for the Ford Lifestyle Collection if you are into Ford and unusual porcelain! cyber-Wear designed the mugs with a 0,4l capacity as a trendy collectors’ item after having made scores of various designs and their design department could really enjoy playing out their strengths in the wide scope of possible finishing processes.

In the meantime the possibilities lie way beyond the logo engraving. The corporate identities are perfectly depicted with hydro glazing on the Ford EcoSport coffee mug as well as the other mugs: This process enables the porcelain to be finished with various pantone, colours and even metallic colours. The velvety finish turns the smooth, cold material into a sensual soft experience – absolutely perfect for the edition of the Ford Heritage coffee mug. The esthetic enhancement of the surface with its unusual matt finishing is only half the story: it is amazing how the feel of the surface alters! The ceramic glazing has been proven thousand-fold: the Ford jumbo mugs are not only meant for the show case but also put up an excellent show in every day use as they are completely durable, scratch-free and dish washer proof.

The next mug is set to go – this time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang. As usual the mug is Made in Germany and the availability is limited. cyber-Wear produces earphones for the L’TUR promotional article product line

No holiday without a summer hit, no journey without the appropriate soundtrack: whether you are on the plane or lying at the pool – high spirits and music in your ears just belong together. Perhaps you would even like to learn the local language on your iPod? In any case, earphones always belong to one of the most essential travel accessories on holiday and they are especially practical as an “in-ear” model: the earphones are small with a minimal weight and give the least possible background noise for those sitting next to you. On behalf of the last minute specialist L’TUR, cyber-Wear has now produced bright pink “in-ear” headphones for the promotional article product line which can be ordered by the staff in all of the L’TUR shops.
