One of my very favorite true Italian restaurants in Boston - impressive bar scene, friendlier than their sister restaurant Ashmont Grill across the way. This is a chic, urban space with excellent regional Italian cuisine at affordable prices.

Monday and Tuesday they now have a deal for a $1 menu. 3 items each cost a dollar for you to try. My friend and I both tried the bass ravioli which was interesting...I've never had a fish ravioli before, not sure I will again, but the pasta was great. Really soft, which i how I think you know it's fresh. We got the mushroom pizza as well and it was great! Perfect size for 2 people so it's a cheap night out too! The mushrooms were plentiful and fresh, and they'll add parm and black pepper to anything if you ask. Service was friendly and laughed at his own mistakes (when I asked for the ravioli, he said squash (which was the soup) and then we both looked at one another confused, I said ravioli, he said squash, and then said wait WHAT, yeah ravioli).

One of my favorite places to go when I want great flavor. Portions are smaller than i like, so I usually get an app as well. Meatballs are tremendous. Braised short rib is stellar as well.

I found the food a bit pretentious, a very poor attempt at upscale entrees, very small portions ridiculously overpriced and just plain dissapointing. Wish I could give no stars.

I got the best service, ate at the bar it was so cute, chalkboard on the bar to draw if you get bored waiting for your food. Very clean, and also beautiful inside you would never guess since its at ashmont station! My pizza was delicious!

Great little place. Full meal or just order a couple of sides. In-house sausage, great meetballs, good wine/beer selection. Can get crowded at the bar.

We've been here about 6 times since it opened. The first three times were pretty terrible--poor service, burned pizza, and overpriced food. They revamped since, however, and the interior is MUCH nicer, the food has gotten better, portions larger, and overall has become a contender. We like it, but don't often visit with The Ledge and Ashmont Grill so close by.
