Hi folks,

I have a Google Drive OAuth app working, and would like to enhance it with a Drive add-on. Is it possible to somehow share the authentication between the two so users don't have to authorize twice?

Thanks!

+Pedro Belo I used the 0Auth2 library by +Eric Koleda in a forms add-on.  It works well but does require two rounds of authentication.  This specific add-on requests resource calendar read access.

If you are calling a google api via REST take a look at the docs to see what the scopes are.  You may be able to call a script service in your code to satisfy the scope .  That would cut down on a second request.

Here is a striped down version of the add-on. You will need to enter your own console credentials. Look for the add-on option to "Request Access to resource calendars"
