Assalaamu alaikom to everyone.
I really do not know what to say about the answer given by Nouman. I did not see this full video as I do not want to waste my time. Because Nouman is seeing things from his observation, which is really constrained by his own thinking and belief. The analogy given is total nonsense!
He says Allah has chosen "special" people. These are prophets. I agree. The specialty comes under the scrutiny of God only. We are not to judge any prophets. However, Prophets are also cautioned by God. This you can find in many suras of the Quran.
For example in Sura Abasa : The Frowing..God cautioned prophet of his error in delivering the message. He was delivering it to the rich (who may be not keen). However, Prophet frowned when a blind man seek to know the truth. Why "special" people do not understand this logic? Prophets "jobs" just to deliver the message.
The word "special" mentioned by Nouman is his own words. That is why there are always arguments and debate like this.
Human beings are human beings. If you put "biryani" on the table are you going to say you cannot eat? Or you just whack it man!!
Nouman says if the tsunami come and then it stops. He asked whether people would then belief? What belief he is talking about?
In the introduction, he say to belief in God is easy. However, to take the word of Prophet or any people of good is not easy. Do you think he is contradicting. What belief he is talking about?
Action comes after belief. The Arabs belief in " Allah". However, the concept of God is what matters here.
Idol worshipers are scoffed at by God. The stupidest thing to do is to create the idol from your own hands and take it as God.
The job of a Prophet is just to deliver the message and period!
Do not equate man and God. He is Allah, The Eternal , The Truth.
You can have a relationship with God, provided you remember Him always.
