Dear Mr. Kay, Sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with our food. We always appreciate constructive comments to improve on service. As you can see on this site and TripAdvisor site, we do get a lot of compliments on our authentic Thai cuisine from native Thai and regular customers alike. Also, food poisoning or any other bacteria induced illness takes more than few hours to demonstrate itself therefore, It must be something else you ate earlier in the day that caused your illness. . We would appreciate if you give us another chance to try our cuisine and real Thai hospitality. Please ask for Jan or MJ and we will take care of your needs. Hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, Jan (owner & manager Ayothaya Thai Cuisine)

We went for lunch. So I can't speak of bad service as we were seated and the food came right away. We had the fish cakes, red curry, and rice noodle dishes. Outstanding. Brought the spice tray but had to request fish sauce with chopped chilies. Will definitely go there again. But based on the other reviews, maybe not for dinner during peak hours.

The food is amazing! The service spoils everything. The waiter was rude and the food was served incorrectly so that most of the table had finished their main course before others were served. In the end, we had to wait so long that that the delay meant that the place closed before they served dessert! When we asked for the dessert menu we were told that we had run out of time and we had to leave. What a shame because the food was really good.

The experience was awesome. The employees were so nice and professional. We felt like we were in Thailand. The food was great. Will be returning soon.

This place is super slow! Was here for dinner, place was busy and they were so understaffed. You will have to wait at least for 10 minute at the door for any waiters to notice you and have you seated, and then another 10 minutes for someone to pour your water and take your order. And your entry will finally come 20 minutes later after your appetizers. Almost every customer had to go through this (since I had to sit there and wait for an available waiter and my food for so long)! They need to get more help!

Thai cuisine in the heart of Restaurant Row. Almost every door opens into a different restaurant along this stretch of very upscale strip plaza or what is more affably known to locals and repeat guest alike as Restaurant Row. One such door opens to a whole different world. Welcome to Ayothaya. This restaurant has done a remarkably good job in recreating the Thai spirit and setting. There are very stylish Thai artifacts and wall art coupled with a very soothing atmosphere. The menu here is like most other local Thai restaurants with a few additions. Ayothaya specialties are common ingredients prepared their way and Ayothaya Creations are where the chefs demonstrates their abilities. There are several Market Price items which I am sure depends on portion size or what is available. On this occasion I was prive to try the Beef Noodle Soup which was clear and flavorful; The Pepper Steak, which exhibited signature pepper; Garlic Pork which was more black pepper than garlic; Spicy Frog Legs which was a treat of tender frog meat dressed in batter. All of these dishes were well balanced in flavor and texture. The presentation was nice and portions generous. This restaurant has managed to capture the Thai hospitality on a the very bustling Restaurant Row.
