Amazing place to get some breakfast! Yeah sure, it always has a line but that is just because the food is great! Most famous places in the Los Angeles area have long lines anyways. (The Pantry, Pinks hot dogs, etc...) The service is pretty good as well! Overall it's just a great spot to eat!

While the food is great and line of people waiting to get seated proves it to be the case, the organization is a chaos. We've been told it's going to be 20 min wait, after 45 min I went in to check and there were still 10 people ahead of us, down from 13 45 min earlier. Had I known it's going to be 2 hours wait, I wouldn't bother. 20 minutes does not equal to 2 hours. On top of the cherry, they refused to validate the parking since we didn't make a purchase.

Had pancakes, french toast, and an omelet. All good nothing wow. The sausage was better. Very crowded making service slow and some what sloppy.

My wife and I visited L.A. for our anniversary. I was just looking for a good breakfast and came across the great reviews for The Griddle. This place was absolutely amazing. The portions are massive and the food is delicious. My wife had the "tis the season" pancakes. I finished my awesome breakfast and then started eating some of her pancakes too. I was full, but I couldn't stop eating because it was sooo good! I was worried that we would have to wait after I read all of the reviews about it being crazy all of the time. We went on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings around 9 or 10 and we didn't have to wait at all. Even if there was a wait, it would be well worth it. We're sad that we live all the way across the country from The Griddle Cafe!

The portions are wasteful, the line is always long (even on weekday mornings), and the oatmeal was the worst I've ever had. Not only was the oatmeal worse than instant oatmeal, it wasn't steel-cut as advertised. The staff was nice and the coffee good though.

I have know the restaurant a long time. Never went because it is to far away. Today was in Beverly hills so we went. The lunch was so good. the dishes are so big, the food excellent. The staff was so friendly. I highly recommend this place.
