*Very nice place to camp and float, the owners are very nice people, they have this old man that works down there that is a pain in the ass, everybody was outside the camper at the picnic table and he took it upon himself to walk right inside my camper without saying a word .he was very disrespectful to my family and friends,we had a friend playing soft music on his guitar ,and that old man tried to take his guitar out of his hands.I live in the city and I've heard stories about that same old man.that's bad for business ..

Great campground, really beautiful. I ended up drinking way too much and being rushed off to the hospital at around 3am but coming back to the campsite and waking up in nature the next day made me feel so much better about my poor life decisions the night prior. Highly recommended!

The Glendennings do a fantastic job making their camping and floating experience the very best family friendly experience it can be. If you are a novice or an expert at canoeing down the beautiful rivers we have in Missouri, the Riverfront Campground is the very best the area has to offer. From a gorgeous, well maintained campground, the comfortable, well-equipped cabins, and the delicious fare at the nearby restaurant, Riverfront is the best around.

Best place to camp and float the river!!! The camp grounds are right on the calm part of the river so you can put your chairs in the water and just chill out drinking all day. Floating the river a blast and the let in/out was quick thanks to the staff. We will definately be back!!!

I've stayed with most every outfitter and campground along the Niangua River and this is by far one of the best. First off they do allow dogs of all sizes which most campgrounds in the area do not. It is a primative campsite where you can pitch your tent wherever you'd like but the place is HUGE so you can easily find your own little corner of land and not be near other people (except on busy holiday weekends of course). Showers (although you have to pay) are always clean and have hot water. There are port-o-pottys spread out all around the park so you are never too far away from a potty which is nice. The store isn't horribly overpriced and the staff are super friendly. They do have an 11pm music off policy which I have seen them enforce but I think they could do better at enforcement than they do. However, in comparison to other places I can say that they do a much better job than most at keeping the abnoxious partiers to a dull roar than other campgrounds. That being said, I recommend this park to anyone who enjoys primative tent camping. Also the canoe/raft floats that they offer are competitive with the surrounding areas (price and distance) and most of their floats have you taking out right at your campsite. My only complaint here is that they don't have a float longer than 8.5 miles that you can do in one day. Most everywhere else around has a 10-14 mile float that can be done in a day. But if your just going for a lazy float and aren't in it for the distance but more the fun along the way their floats are perfect. FYI: They only allow dogs on the canoe's and not on the rafts. But this is better than most other places who don't allow pets at all so I'll take what I can get.
