Whenever I watch Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, to this day, I am still amazed that it was considered the step child of the franchise. It's is light years ahead of all the other series' in the way of dialog, cinematography, universe and character building, and performances. Perhaps because it's dark, gritty, and open ended, but such is reality.

Squeezing just a little more of that 640k with that last edit of Config.Sys. Those were the days...

Just checked in to get the latest of the partisan hackery that dominates my feed. So lets look alive shall we. Rationalize your candidate's moral, ethical, and intellectual bankruptcy. Wish harm for those you feel aren't patriotic enough. Shame those who won't buy in to your rediculously contrived pronouns. Call your cousin or alumni a cuck or traitor or bigot or fascist.

Come on, I'm in need of amusement.

I work in an occupation in which there are many hazards. Arc flash, electrocution, struck-bys and caught-betweens, and falls could easily end my life, (or severely reduce the quality of it). I've also lived the vast majority of my life in large cities. Situational awareness has proven to be a very faithful and necessary companion in my life. It confounds me greatly, from this location in which I worked today, the extreme oblivion I have observed. People, walking in streets, sidewalks, faces buried in phones, collecting abstract, electronic items. I've even seen people doing 'drive bys'.

I am not criticizing the activity itself, for anything that drive people out into the world they have forgotten to be mostly a good thing. It's how everyone seems to go about it.

Queen Anne's Lace (aka Wild Carrot) is a common wild flower found in ditches and field all over the continental United States. It has some toxic properties, but it looks similar to much more noxious and toxic weeds.
