Correction this is the Seebeck effect which produces electricity from the difference in temperature of an N and P type silicon junction. The Biolite camp stove is a thermoelectric generator and got my water boiling for coffee this morning.

Tried out my new camping stove - a Bio lite stove that makes electricity from the temperature difference in the Peltier module.

Works great. Used about five sticks and one match. Turned on the fan and it was making lots of fire. It heated 12 ounces of water in a few minutes. Then it made plenty of electricity for the phone. Nice part is it burns the wood down to nothing.

Drop offs Monday Wednesday and Friday until 4 pm. Pull in on the side of the building that is along Irving Street near the location that teaches tractor trailer drivers. Small fee for TV's, decent service. Worked out for me.

Very tasty food. Pleasant staff and a surf shop vibe. Tacos are perfect. Burrito is crazy big.
