If you have the money, I would scour the ends of the earth for a 690. Otherwise I would do a WR or DRZ. A DRZ can give you really good power but it will take ~2k into mods to get there (carb/pipe/cams/big bore). The WR is the lightest at ~270lbs, the DRZ is ~310lbs the 690 is ~325lbs, so its a bit of a pig, but it has loads of power to make up for it.
