A stellar night

Shashank: "Traveling through the Eastern Sierra is a photographer's delight and a stop at Mono Lake makes it even more dazzling. I got an opportunity to explore this area over few hours and couldn't stop appreciating the otherworldly beauty these tiny or really mighty tufas offered. I could see sculptural patterns emerge like what you may see in ruins of a temple or an archaeological excavation site, something that remote. To add to the fun, time can really freeze here and distant howling sounds can scare the [--] out of you. It made me point my headlamp in random directions only to realize the presence of black-tailed jackrabbits around me :)."

Technical details:
"Over the course of this night into the early morning, I shot many foregrounds and looked for a level ground to track the Milky Way. This is a blend of multiple shots which are tracked and stacked at various intervals of time. Spent some time bringing them together using a couple of different tools like Nebulosity, Helicon Focus, PT Gui, LR and PS. Shot with Fuji X-T2, 10-24mm and 18-55mm. Milkyway tracked using iOptron SkyTracker Pro."
