Absolutely amazing dumplings. It's a small restaurant, and also quite popular, so expect a wait. Though it tends to move pretty quickly. Once inside the decor is nothing to write home about, but that's not why you came here. As soon as you sit down you're served with a fresh pot of black tea. My wife and I ordered the chicken wings (I order those everywhere) the pork buns, the chicken wonton soup, and savory pork dumplings. Our order took about 20 minutes to get the table. The dumplings were cooked perfectly and very juicy. The buns were soft and warm on the outside with delicious pork and scallions on the inside and the soup was outstanding. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly was in the broth. The whole meal only cost $34. I highly recommend you stop by and try them.

Do you like spicy food? Do you like incredible broth and seafood? If you've answered yes to both of these questions, then get to Gourmet Dumpling house - NOW, and order D.27. Also - the mini juicy dumplings (Xiaolong bao) are pretty ace as is the scallion pancake.

Oh how I like this place. There is always a line for this hole-in-the-wall, but hardly ever a long wait; You will know the reason for both of those statemnts upon eating there. They pack the people in, serve you quickly, and the food is EXCELLENT (I would have italicized that, but I can't on this device... caps will have to suffice). Should I say it? Try the dumplings.

Excellent food, some of the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. Although the room was packed our various dishes arrived remarkably fast and very good service. Vegetarians and meat lovers in group were both happy with options and meals.

Bomb food and surprisingly inexpensive. Definitely recommend the soup dumplings although be careful because the come out fresh and HOT! Any party less than 4 might end up at a table with another group, but for me it was quite nice to meet new people. It's a communal experience. I will say that the seafood fried rice was kinda salty...but it's a Dumpling House so the dumplings are all that really matter. A semi-limited array of dumpling choices but the ones I tried were good. Keep it coming Gourmet Dumpling House!

Tiny, crowded, and authentic. The staff are short and the service is quick. You will probably have to get your name on a list if you show up during dinner hours, but you can walk around a bit outside and it goes by pretty quickly. The tables are crammed in the small space, so make sure not to bring in a bunch of shopping bags or something like that. Every inch counts here. My three friends and I got two orders of crab rangoon. YUM. I could have eaten more. The fried tofu was super hot when it came out but a bit bland in the end. The garlic dipping sauce, however, saved it. Just make sure you bring a breath mint for after. The vegetable dumplings largely disappointing and dry, especially considering it's named a dumpling house.

The taste is good. However, the service is terrible. They require mandatory at lest 15% tips for lunch.
