Impeccable beef cheek and roast pork, tastiest apple crumble I have ever had, a simple and homey atmosphere. Wonderful local wines and beer. And even the fromage apres dinner was yummy. As they say here, il a ete parfait (It was perfect).

We arrived at 7.30 pm on the day that was 35 degrees. It was empty and there was no air conditioning. It wasn't a great ambiance. I noticed the Happy Hour finished at 8 pm, so I ordered a second glass of champagne at 10 to 8 pm. When the bill arrived the waiter had not allowed me the Happy Hour prices for either glass. His excuse was that the computer knew the Happy Hour times and you can't argue with the computer. I suggested that it depends what time you register the order. He acquiesced and took E8 off the bill. I wonder how many others get caught. The waiter was very nice and the food was good. I can name plenty of restaurants that have jusst as good food and a far better ambiance.

Wonderful place, small and unpretentious for the quality of the meal we had. Enjoyed an insanely delicious bottle of wine, the calamari and squid ink appetizer was fabulous, and the chocolate mousse we had for dessert is my #1 mousse of all time!

wow! i enjoyed the atmosphere, the guy next to me reading his facebook stream & symphonies while eating, the red wine, the marvellous meat, the smell and the people.

An institution in this area. Both the restaurant and its owner are known in the chefs community. Simple and yet delicious French food in a cosy atmosphere. A must
