#ArapahoeCC Lead Astronomy Faculty Jennifer Jones, along with ACC students Jamie Principato and Robert Belter, attended the "RockOn!" workshop at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility in Wallops, Virginia, from June 20-26 to assist with building a rocket payload.

The trio worked on a Geiger counter, mounted capacitors and resistors, and coded, tested and integrated components before launching their rocket - complete with Lego astronaut "Benny" - into space to collect scientific data. #MoveMountainsACC

The trip was made possible through ACC's partnership with the Colorado Space Grant Consortium.
