During a trip to China last month, LWIT President David Woodall and a delegation from our school visited Zibo High School. In the link below you can see photos from the visit. Here is a translation:

February 20, 2012, a delegation of five led by President Dr. David Woodall from Lake Washington Institute of Technology, Washington, USA, visited our school.

The leaders of the school, accompanied by American guests watched the flag-raising ceremony, visited the art building, lab, language lab, counseling room, classroom building, and to the classrooms to personally experience classroom setting. American guests spoke highly of the school facilities, its first-class quality of teachers and teaching philosophy, and praised that it was such a high-level secondary school, even to the United States standards.

American guests gave a wonderful presentation to our students and faculty in the school lecture hall. President Dr. David Woodall and High School Principal of the college Ms. Kim Infinger gave an overview of Lake Washington Institute of Technology and its High School, explained in detail the school's courses, credits and its practices, topics that were of interest to students. Our students were attracted to the American University teaching methodology.

On the basis of mutual understanding and trust, our school and Lake Washington Institute of Technology signed a memorandum of understanding, with the intention of further cooperation in faculty and student exchange, and information exchange. We believe this will further broaden the international perspective of our teachers and students, promote the development of our school’s international education, improve the educational levels of the school, and play a positive role in promoting Zibo to become the province's first-class and best-known modern secondary school.
