Very disappointed in their service. we had a birthday party there last night and we did not get our salad brought to us until 5 minutes before our food came.we asked for more salad and breadsticks and we did not get it. the service was horrible and our waitresses did not bring us more water or see to refill our drinks. we had 14 people in our group and none of them were happy and probably will not go back to this restaurant.

I went with my family for lunch and we all ordered different meals. We were very impressed with the quality of the food, a very good service and the portions were more then you can expect. I would say this restaurant goes beyond it's level when it comes to quality and also for a reasonable price. Congrats to the Chef!

It is sad to say how poor our experience at this Olive Garden was the night that we went. My wife and I have enjoyed the Olive Garden in many other cities, so we decided to go this one. We will never be back. I take issue with a restaurant that serves their drinks in dirty glasses, twice. Our wine glasses were brought to us with pulverized food particles stuck to the inside and outside of the glass, no doubt the result of a poorly maintained dish washing machine. When I brought the dirty glassware to our server's attention, she waved it off as water spots. Holding my ground, so to speak, I showed her by scraping against the inside of the glass that the glasses indeed had food stuck to them. She quickly apologized and whisked our wine glasses from the table and brought us new ones... nearly ten minutes or so later. It may seem petty, but waiting for then minutes in such an environment is quite a long time, especially when the menu items are so expensive. One can only assume that part of the rather large price tag for the evening is supposed to be the high quality of service. That was clearly not the case here. Before one thinks me to be a snob, I used to work in the restaurant business... and this restaurant was simply not busy enough to warrant such service delay. When she did return with the new wine glasses, she held them up, inspecting them in front of us, and placed them on the table in front of us, smug with victory. However, these glasses were just as bad. Dark food particles were cemented to the inside of the glasses. I was disgusted, especially since she made it a point to inspect the dirty glassware at the table. When our meals were brought, it was time to open the silverware. Not at all to my surprise, the cutlery was speckled with food particles as well. Realizing the theme, we scraped off the nasty bits of clean food that used to belong to other guests and ate our dinner. On the plus side (might as well end with something positive), the food was delicious. However, the taste of the food in no way outweighed the obvious, even blatant disregard for cleanliness. One can only imagine what the cookware looked like that our food was prepared with. So, in closing, we will happily spend our money elsewhere in the future. There are so many other places in Bellingham that stand behind their service with a "customer first" mentality.

Felt like a lower grade restaurant... I've eaten at other Olive garden before. Waiter didn't seem happy.. One of the 5 star reviews in here seems like fake... So ill give it 1 star to offset.. So Olive garden don't get people to give fake reviews

I have been to three Olive Garden restaurants. My first time was in Florida — great experience. My second time was in California — great experience. My third time now in Bellingham, Washington — terrible experience! Upon entering the restaurant, it was immediately packed with people like your typical restaurant at 7 PM would be. The condition of the restaurant was not on par of quality with the likes of two other Olive Garden restaurants I have been too, and neither was the food, at all. The bread we received to begin dinner was not good, it tasted old. My minestrone soup was half warm and cold; I could have made it better at home. My calamari appetizer was half raw; I couldn't finish it like I normally do. Our lasagna appetizer rolls were burnt, so we left them behind. The Caesar salad had pieces that were going bad and the whole thing barely had any dressing. With all that, I was still hopeful that my main course would be great, but it wasn't. I ordered chicken and risotto and both were terrible. I took two bites of the cold block of butter and cheese rice that was my risotto. That was the worst risotto of my life, but so was the chicken because it was dry and overcooked and tasted like it had freezer burn. This Olive Garden restaurant actually terrified me in the end. I think Chef Ramsey needs to come in here and fix the place because not only was the food terrible, but the service was too. They were very slow and after we got our bill, our waitress never came back to collect our payment for whatever reason. We waited 15 minutes while I was sipping on a cappuccino, the only thing not done wrong there, until I got the attention of another waitress to collect our payment. Overall I had a terrible experience at this Olive Garden and I will never be going back to repeat this poor experience. I love good quality food and service and I found neither to be lovable here. I would never recommend anyone to go here for dinner, just maybe for a cappuccino.

My girlfriend and I ordered a Calzones, and I was really disappointing. I ordered the 4 cheese, and the calzones were very small, and I really had to force myself to finish it because it tasted well, not very good. The staff was great and we enjoyed ourselves by eating a lot of salad :)
