For the RPG fans and the art fans, take a look at this post! $1 gets you full access to our entire Patreon! Right now we are playtesting a scenario I wrote called Godkillers for the Post-Human Condition setting, in which Cthulhu-esque gods come to Earth. Their presence warps us and our reality, but at our core, we remain human, with all the wants and flaws that humans have.

Here's the teaser for Godkillers:

You and your friends used to belong to a cult, you got out, tried to make a new life for yourselves in New Orleans, but no one gave you a chance except the underworld, so you became criminals. Now you’re having waking nightmares, and the cult just started killing other ex-cultists, and it all points to one thing: You’ve got to kill the cult, and to kill them, you’ve got to kill their god.

1) I don't think that 5E has that many bells & whistles compared to 3E & 4E, so when I play or run it, I don't strip it of anything. Yes, give me the stat blocks. As a DM, I'll decide what I don't need.

2) My ideal 5E product in regards to this is Lost Mines of Phandelver. There's a lot of setting there, but it's all part of the adventure too. I don't need a travel guide, however. Basically, give me cool details and scenarios that have tidbits (or a little more) that I can expand upon myself.

3) It is helpful to know what is on your mind as a designer. But you can do that in a sentence or two per scene, right? Maybe an introduction of a few hundred words, at most, if you're doing something really different.

I'm really proud of this one. Leyana is one of my favorite characters to write -- an adventurer in a fantasy world who is indeed tough, cunning, and ruthless, but has a heart. And Journeyman's painting of her, the look of cool disdain on her face -- listen, pay a dollar (literally), take your chances, and tell me whether I'm right or not that the painting alone is worth the dollar.
